It began as a splinter group from the Milwaukee-based national comedy organization ComedySportz. Some of the group's individual members went on to become noteworthy after the group's breakup, including Dan Harmon (Community, Rick and Morty, Harmontown) and Rob Schrab (Scud: The Disposable Assassin, Monster House, and The Sarah Silverman Program). Years ago, I had my own personal copy of The Dead Alewives' comedy album "Take Down The Grand Master". Years later, I went looking for it, only to find it gone forever. I then spent many hours scouring the internet to see if I can purchase the album anywhere, without success. Finally, I spent many more hours scouring the internet to find the audio clips from the CD. This is a recreation of the disc, as well as I can reconstruct it, with audio from the best possible sources. Some of the audio is trimmed from longer podcasts, which were recorded live. Unfortunately, that means that there are some audio issues with a few of the clips. I tried to clean them up as best as I could. I was also not able to locate all of the tracks of the album. If you know where to locate these tracks, or know where I can get a copy of the original CD or the original files, please let me know! It would be a shame for this fantastic comedy to be lost forever! However, this collection does include two additional clips that I managed to find - "Dungeons and Dragons 2" and "MacGregor's Kilts".
